MetaCrawler® was originally developed in 1994 at the University of Washington by then
graduate student Erik Selberg and Associate Professor Oren Etzioni. MetaCrawler® is a
metasearch engine that blends the top search results from Google, Yahoo!, Windows Live Search, Ask, About, MIVA (formerly FindWhat.com), LookSmart, and other popular Web search engines. MetaCrawler® also provides users the option to search for images, audio, video, news, yellow pages, and white pages.
